Reason number 25 (okay, maybe it's more than that) why I love Ravelry...I can post pictures of projects that are gifts in my Ravelry notebook without fear that the recipient will see it. Very cool.
You can see my pics of the Fuzzy Feet I made for Mom's birthday in my notebook. I am Petunia63 on Ravelry. I haven't done the puff paint yet, but I want Katie to stretch them out for me first. Don't you think that is the best plan? She is working on that now. I did do some blogging and writing today. I also worked on our Etsy Shop a bit. Feedback has been good so I am looking forward to kicking things up a notch. Should be good. Of course all this blogging, newsletter-ing, Etsy-ing and just plain crazy making activity is keeping me busy, which is a very good thing. On the "I'm going to celebrate Christmas despite my crappy attitude' front, we did put our tree up. No decorations yet (they were inadvertently destroyed last year, no one's fault) so we have to buy some new ones this coming weekend. Should be fun.
There was a short article and knitting pattern in the new issue of Heart Healthy Living Magazine. The article said that knitting directly counteracts the fight or flight response the body has to stress. So, it is good for your heart and can prolong your life! There's another good reason to buy more yarn. (as if we need one).
